Ample Blog Pro is clean with modern and minimal design personal blog theme well suited for any types of blogs and magazines. This is the premium version of Ample Blog.

Theme Installation

Via Admin Panel

• Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels. www.siteurl.com/wp-admin
• Go to the Appearance panel, then Themes.
• Click Add New.
• Upload the zip file of the theme, Ample-blog-pro.zip
• After Installing the theme Click Activate button.

Via FTP

• Use your FTP software to browse to wp-content/themes folder.
• Extract Ample-blog-pro.zip and upload the folder.
• Once it’s uploaded, go to your WordPress Admin, browse to Appearance > Themes.
• Click the Activate link.

Adding Contents

Posts

To create a post on your site, it’s easy. Follow the below-listed methods.

• Go to Administration Panels
• Go to Posts and Click on Add New
• Give the title of the post and add the content
• Set the featured image for the post from a right corner.
• Set that post in the Category.
• Click on Publish Button.
• Add more post like the above methods.

Pages

To create a page on your site, it’s easy. Follow the below-listed methods.

• Go to Administration Panels
• Go to Page and Click on Add New
• Give the title of the page and add the content
• Set the featured image for the post from a right corner.
• Click on Publish Button.
• Add more page of the above methods.

Categories

To create categories, follow the below steps.

• Go to Administration Panels
• Go to Posts > Categories
• Give the title of the category
• Click on Save
• The added category will appear on the Add Post Page.

Widgets

Ample Blog Pro Comes with Added Custom Widget for Advertisement and Author Descriptions, Recent Post and Popular Post. In this theme, you will have an advertisement, author widget as well as custom widget for a recent post and Popular Post.

You have lots of custom widgets area for the different widgets to place on your theme.

Theme Customization Options

You will get every option for theme customization on Appearance > Customize. Use the available options for managing the site.

General Setting

The general setting section includes Site Layout, Preloader Image, the Background color for preloader etc.

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Option > General Setting
• Check all the available options.
• If the preview is fine, click on Save & Publish.

Main Navigation Options

This section includes the option for the sticky menu.

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Ample Blog Theme Options > Main Navigation Options
• If the preview is fine, click on Save & Publish.

Breadcrumb Options

• You can enable/disable the breadcrumb via this section.
• Check every available option.

Slider Section

This section is for slider section. You can choose the category for the slider.

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Ample Blog Theme Options > Slider Section
• Check every option available on that section.
• Set the number of the slider.

Sidebar Option

You can set the sidebar for your site. You can choose the sidebar from the available option. Options are,

• Left Sidebar
• Right Sidebar
• No Sidebar

Blog Section Options

Options which helps to manage the setting on your blog and archive page. So, check this section options to customize your blog page. You can change column, enable masonry,Featured Image etc. Available options are,

• Featured Image
• Column Number
• Excerpt Length
• Exclude Category
• Read More Text
• Meta Options etc

Single Post Options

This option helps you to manage the single page of your blog. Check all the available options.

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Ample Blog Theme Option > Single Post Option
• If the preview is fine on the single page, click on Save and Publish button to save the changes.

Typography Options

This is one of the powerful options on this theme. You can use any of the available google fonts with customization. Check the options for fonts family here,

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Ample Blog Theme Option > Typography Option
• Check the default format of the typography used there.
• Change font family with the similar format.
• If preview is fine, click on save & publish to save the changes.

Colors

• Go to Appearance > Customize >Ample Blog Theme Colors Options
• Select the required color for the website with the available options there.
• Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Menus

This theme comes with three menu locations. Primary Menu, Top Header Menu and Social Menu

Primary Menu

• This menu will appear on the Main menu for the site below the logo section.
• Create a menu and add the items on the menu.
• Set the menu on the Primary Menu.
• Save the Menu

Top Header Menu

• Top Header Menu will appear on Left Side of the Top Header(As in Demo)
• Create a menu and add the items on the menu.
• Set the menu on the Top Header Menu.
• Save the Menu

Social Menu

• Social Menu will appear on Right Side of the Logo(As in Demo)
• Add the link for social Menu(Use Custom Link to create this menu)
• In custom link, add link for Facebook Menu(www.facebook.com/username)
• Add the menu and follow the same steps for twitter, Instagram.
• Select the Social Menu for this.
• If the preview is fine, Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Custom Widgets

Ample Blog Author:

Add this available widget on any of the added widget area.

• Widget Title: Title of the Widget
• Descriptions: Add the descriptions of the Author or Ads. You can use Adsense Code here.
• Social Link: Add the Social Link here.
• Image: Select the Image for Author or Ads Image.

Ample Blog Recent Post

This widget is helpful to show the recent post.

Ample Blog Popular Posts

This widget is helpful to show the Popular Posts.
